Virginia

We received Virginia's second report card for the year today. It was a glowing report, with the possible exception of the following comment, which appeared in the "Social and Emotional Learning" section:

"Virginia is quite popular with her peers and sometimes uses that popularity to her advantage (such as getting extra candy during a sharing activity)."

Needless to say, it was a laugh-out-loud moment for me when I finally got to this comment, which was on the final page of the lengthy report card. Still not exactly sure what to make of it, but I can't say that I was surprised to hear this from her teacher, given all that we know about Virginia's spunky personality. Hoping it brings a smile or two to you all, as well.
