I've mentioned Belgrade's unique river island, Ada Ciganlija ("Ada") in previous posts, but I finally got out there the other day with my camera. On this immensely popular Belgrade recreational island, there is tons to see and do, and you never know what you might encounter. It's always interesting and colorful, and walking the loop around the 8 km loop has become one of my favorite springtime activities. But, as the old adage goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words," so here you go:
(p.s. If you're wondering what's up with the picture of the guy on the picnic table, well, he was, um "grooming" himself out there at Ada -- snipping those underarm hairs with a pair of scissors, by golly!!)
