Wes and friends made it back from soccer camp yesterday. A group of about 30 boys spent the week in southern Serbia in a town called Sokobanja, playing soccer, watching World Cup soccer, eating good Serbian food, and otherwise enjoying the moutainous surroundings and fresh air. As always, having one of the kids away makes you realize just how much you enjoy having them around, and we were all really happy to have Wes back. His friend, Ozzy, who also went on the soccer trip, is over today; it's Ozzy's 12th birthday, so we'll be celebrating by making some sort of boxed cake! Then, it's off to the pool this afternoon, since it is finally warm enough here to swim. I love these summer days!
