Highlights from the weekend included:

Santa arriving at the party on Saturday in a horse-drawn carriage, and accompanied by two Marines to protect him along the way!

Santa disembarking from his carriage with gifts for all of the children.

Santa and his Marine helpers in the Ambassador's house getting ready to hand out gifts.

A dramatic reading of The Grinch who Stole Christmas, performed by three particularly talented Embassy parents.

Wes' Choir teacher, Kristen Tharalson with her 6th Grade Choir in the background.
Wes and his harem (note that he is the only boy in the group; actually, there is one other boy in Choir, but he was out sick that night, so it was all on Wes to make the guys look good)
Drummer from the High School Jazz Band; this group was fantastic!

7th Grade Guitar class showing off all they have learned in Music class this year.
So, that was last weekend. This weekend will not be quite so hectic, but there will be plenty to keep us busy (Winter Concert at Virginia's school tonight, party Saturday night, basketball and soccer for Wes on Saturday, and a caroling party on Sunday afternoon!!) Hoping that each of is you is having a joyful and blessed holiday season, as well!!
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Erin
